I've had this tab open for months. What is Nestflix? A (searchable!) collection of 800 fake tv shows and movies that have been mentioned in tv shows or movies. I happened on this favorite with Jenna Maroney and it makes me smile every time I inventory said tabs. This, a weirdly specific project by Lynn Fisher who just updated her personal site for 2025.

David Friedman digs up TV show pilots that never got picked up, and ponders the possibilities if they did. Saving this link to visit these at leisure (and tamp down bad recommendations by YouTube.)

I think ESPN maybe tried flat graphics for a while, but let me tell you, reading scores from a distance in a bar on a tv screen is incredibly hard. I wish this clarity would catch on.

It seems as though the promise of a better television experience easily excites the tech media. I frequently talk to many in the tech press about this topic and I find it fascinating that so many people want the TV experience to be disrupted so badly. It’s as though there’s an air of desperation for TV to be reborn. The question is why?

This actor from TV's Spartacus passed away from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and this Kickstarter is attempting to fund the story about his battle. I love the title of this film, which harks back to a book of the same name, "Be Here Now"

I wish I had this much data to dashboard. I'd have to start wearing a suit. Well maybe not, but the app is lovely looking either way.
