Sometimes with Jenn is out walking her dog (or just out walking) she’ll dial me up and I will answer. I could be on a roller coaster and I’d pick up to say, “I’m on a roller coaster, but I’ll call you right back.”
This time she said she was in town ever so briefly and had a string of hours free the next day.
“Lunch?” she asked.
I said “Yes!” excitedly, while peeling hardboiled eggs.
Today we met up in Milford, enjoying Christmas carolers strolling through the restaurant and closing out the lunch seating as the last guests. There is always so much to catch up on and so many tangents we can’t stroll down proper without many additional hours.
I’m not entirely sure what 2025 holds in terms of travel, but I’m sorely missing a group of folks all around the Southeastern parts of the country, Jenn included.
I’m feeling the pull to get some miles on the road and stroll down tangents with all those friends.
HAHA.
I love this photo.
