Most of my moments with Jenn exist outside the timeframe of this online journal, but that does in no way diminish her importance.

I first met her in 1984 at the district Spelling Bee. (It was not a good first impression.)

I’d encounter her proper in middle school and realize—there is someone that is way, way smarter than me. (A good trait to learn at any age!)

At some point we became friends.

Then good friends.

Then lifelong friends.

In my perfect world? Jenn would be my neighbor.

As it stands? I’m just so very happy whenever we connect and our lives overlap.
