Billie Eilish Hit Me Hard And Soft, but mostly hard

I’m going to draw the line here — I think it’s time for me to relinquish tickets to some concerts. Everyone is screaming. The seats are WAY TOO SMALL. Then there’s all the flashing lights and it’s JUST. SO. LOUD.

Every event I’ve attended at this arena has suffered from cacophonous sound issues and as I get older, it gets worse.

Heritage Bank Center is best suited for hockey.

All this said? Billie Eilish put on an excellent show. The setlist was sprawling. The staging and realtime video effects tight.

It really was great — especially so when the entire arena sat down without a peep for building the a cappella loops for when the party’s over.

Sidenote: It was the video that song that first stopped my breath and made me aware of her powerful music.

Oh, I’ll still get excited and go to concerts — but in the least I should make better choices for my delicate and aging nature.
