The sun came out and we walked to lunch attempting to find the good kind of shade on the sidewalks. It had been too long since we last crossed paths, but the days and months drifted away with talk of travel and electric cars and family and hikes and kitchens and plants and pups and air purification and love.
Had evening been approaching it’d have been swell to break out some board games, but it was early in the day and everybody had lists of things to do. But we covered some bases and stopped the blur of calendar pages flipping for a solid moment.
