Overdose Awareness Day 2022

In 2021, 435 people in Cincinnati died from overdose.

My brother was part of a team organizing this year’s Overdose Awareness Day in Cincinnati with the goal to bring compassion and solutions to the problem that is compounded by the proliferation of more dangerous drugs and an ongoing pandemic.

They filled the street with organizations and services actively helping folks find ways to address addiction, find places to stay and rebuild a new life.

The parking lot had activities and food and a speech from the mayor.

It’s wonderful to see my brother flourish in a capacity that uses all his skills for the community in need.
