We escaped Seattle after spending a collective 18 hours on hold with Delta. Eventually they offered separate convoluted flights with connections to get home. We chose to gamble on buying tickets through Alaska Air to expedite the process and be together on the same flight.
The only caveat? The closest we could get would be Indianapolis. So Indy we went and rented a car to make it the rest of the way to Cincinnati.
Hertz was still experiencing some CrowdStrike nonsense with their display behind the counter, but luckily their systems got us in a clunky Chrysler 300. We would eventually get home and sleep in our own bed. Glorious!
