Scenic Seattle Panoramic Tour

Our first full day in Seattle kicked off with a guided tour. We hiked down the steep hill from Queen Anne, met at the rendezvous point outside the Space Needle and hopped on a little bus with an excellent guide for a 3 hour loop.

Sights included the Woodland Park Rose Garden, Gas Works Park, Ballard Locks, Fremont Troll and ended with a stop at the Kerry Park Overlook (pictured above). In between those points we rode through neighborhoods and learned tidbits about the city.

Made the mistake of having Dick’s for a late lunch afterward (this particular location by the Space Needle was particularly abysmal), but made up for it all later that evening with dinner at How to Cook a Wolf. (This would turn out to be a favorite meal of the trip and we have Tyler to thank for the recommendation.)
