Storms swirled around Ft. Lauderdale and we sat on the tarmac long enough for me to watch the entirety of the 2024 Mean Girls movie. I did not like it — the circumstance or the quasi-musical.
We were eventually cleared for takeoff and I spent the flight editing photos, looking at clouds and feeling grateful.
When we arrived in Cincinnati all the highways were red on the map as Donald Trump was in town for a fundraiser with JD Vance. We took the long way home. Since I was in the passenger seat I was able to snap the photo above at the 471 split. I’ve always loved the verticality of this suburban street but was never able to capture the view until now.

Thanks Kari! I’ve always found this street interesting. There are all these little views that speed by on the highway. I prefer being behind the wheel most times, but often it’s lovely to be a passenger!
