The hostas unfurl again for the year.
I appreciate this perennial for their low maintenance way of being. They just show up without begging, go about their business, provide visual joy and don’t ask for much.
The American Hosta Society has trademarked them as The Friendship Plant™ because they’re so easy to share and propagate. I don’t know how I feel about the legal bits, but sharing is nice.
