A trip to the vet

Edie did good on her first visit to the vet. (Previously I had a vet come to her, but that option would require a long wait.)

Her eating habits have changed. She’s not staring at her automated feeder like she was before, and doesn’t want hard treats (Temptations) either (which she previously regarded with incredible fervor).

Couple all this with some stomach upsets and it was very much time to get experts involved.

Side note: We switched to soft treats, added wet food to her diet and blocked off access to the artificial Christmas Tree. (Turns out she was snacking on that which likely was not helping one bit.)

By the time we got to the vet she’d been doing better overall. But still.

Teeth are fine, nothing out of sorts from the outside, most bloodwork is all thumbs up save for a particular level of white blood cells that warrant a bit more digging. So we’ll take another trip to the vet next week for overdue shots and a few more tests.
