Because of the derailment

The derailment of a Norfolk Southern train spilled toxic chemicals that led to a controlled burn of the substances in East Palestine, Ohio earlier this month. For a while there wasn’t much information, but videos of creeks with water that had an oily, rainbow-colored sheen appeared online. That small town is 430 miles upstream from Cincinnati.

Eventually regulators closed the intake valves from the Ohio River to do some local tests on our water. Nothing was found and they opened them back up, but Casey and I both had a few days of unusual headaches and decided to switch to bottled water for the time being.
