Halloween has always been a special holiday with our family. I remember back in my childhood, mom going extra for a party where she’d have guests put their hands in a bag to guess what was inside. (It was filled with peeled grapes.) She told them it was eyeballs.
My sister and her husband Bill took that spirit and amplified it for their yearly Halloween parties in Buffalo. (At one point I went up and gave Robin a good scare.)
Her boys have inherited the spirit and decorated the farm to carry the torch.
