My nephews are twins and as much as they may be alike, they have been unique their entire lives — forging their own paths along the way.

They don’t seem to care about trends. They have their own taste in music that isn’t easy to peg. They are the last people I know to get a smart phone, and although I’m very glad they did, I think they were on to something.

And if my brother got a bit of mom’s green thumb, Matt and Mark got the entire genetic sequencing.

They can build things without a set of instructions and they seem to have mastered the balance of life and work, well before I ever figured it out.

And on top of all these solid traits, they’re right there whenever you need them.
