Tucked behind a tiny video store in Walnut Hills is the second bar from Jacob Treviño (co-founder of Gorilla Cinema; and The Overlook Lodge in Pleasant Ridge). To get into The Video Archive you have to find the correct DVD to open the secret door. Once inside the speakeasy you’ll find decor inspired by Quentin Tarantino and exceptionally good cocktails. (Today you had to pull on Deathtrap to get in. It’s a favorite of mine!)
There’s a patio shared with the neighboring Just Q’in BBQ and this makes for an excellent combination.
2023 Note: The Video Archive is now Tiki-Tiki Bang Bang and keeps the good vibes flowing.
