In April of 2016 I had just started my Fellowship year at People’s Liberty. During this tenure I shifted focus away from this photo journal and to the Photocorps project.
I still took daily photos. Many ended up in social media for the project, but there are thousands more just waiting to be discovered.
Bright spots emerge all the time in these daily recollections into this day in the past. Like this walkabout in mom’s garden.
I always love discovering photos with her, even if it’s just her hand holding a tree in bloom or her toes by hostas breaking ground.
I remember her saying I must take some lilacs home and found a matching vase. (A tip of the hat to my nephews for helping me figure out what the flowers were!)
