Trivia Night is a sacred event. Benefitting McGuffey Montessori, this yearly gathering packs the big room at the Community Center up in Oxford. Teams of eight fill tables for lightning rounds of trivia questions, homemade desserts, a silent auction and general conviviality. Oh, and every team is encouraged to have a theme, which usually combines costumes and decor.
This year we chose Bowie. Tom made an electrified centerpiece. Jonathan shaved off his six year beard. Zan hand crafted a Kansai Yamamoto Alladin Sane suit. Wendy made a coat (from scratch) to recreate the Earthling album cover. We had eye patches and button eyes, milk cartons and ill-fitting pleather jackets. Plus also? Jareth from Labyrinth.
It. Was. A. Blast.

Sarah, go back to your room. Play with your toys and your costumes. Forget about the BABY.

Bonus shot from the Bob’s Burgers table. Dang I wished I’d gotten more group shots!
