I’ve known Ray since our studies at OSU. He was in product design, I was in visual communication. After graduation we became pretty darn close and I visited him wherever he ended up across the country, working for the man.
He since moved back to Columbus and gave developing his own ideas a whirl. He’d always been making things to solve problems, and one day his wife said she couldn’t deal with the tangle of cords on earbuds any more. So he Kickstarted an idea, met with great success and Spoolee was born.
I took this picture right after I told him about Bluetooth. (Sidenote: We really need to get the studio in shape. Those wine bottles are from Book Club, I swear.)
