This project was the result of my year-long fellowship at People’s Liberty. I developed a photography program called “PhotoScouting” which collected 21 prompts in a pocket sized book and distributed them freely to folks around the city of Cincinnati and in schools.
Participants were awarded patches for their submissions which were collected in a printed edition. The 136 page book was also given to each participant and shared to local libraries.
The goals of this project:
- Find new challenges and gain a better understanding of photography and seeing intentionally.
- Encourage being a tourist in your hometown and discover new neighborhoods and perspectives.
- Open the experience to everyone and celebrate photography as a community.
