This movie changed the trajectory of my life.
I begged my parents to take me to the theater to see The Muppet Movie, then pleaded for the songbook so I could pluck out the soundtrack on the Wurlitzer organ in the family room.
I plucked out the melodies and wanted to grow up and be a frog or a puppeteer.
I never became those things but my love for all things rainbow and chasing dreams stuck.
Still got the songbook. It’s barely held together at this point, but all the goodness is intact.
