October 31, 2024

It’s been a year since you left this world too quickly.
I’ve thought of you every single day.
What started as a way to process your passing turned into a ritual I looked forward to each morning — convening with your spirit, looking back through decades of photos, and unearthing hidden gems along the way.
Many photos were added to the family photo album.
Oodles of messages were sent to folks with snapshots of days gone by. Sometimes these turned into deeper conversations or visits.
I’ve seen good times, heavy times, and a spectrum of moments in-between repeat like seasons.
I feel sturdier through this process, understanding the ebbs and flows of life more acutely.
The insight gleaned from this reflection was simple: Every day was better when it was spent connecting with people I love — be it in moments captured or by reaching out.
And that there is no limit to the love we can bear.
Miss you sis.
