I’m the slightest bit annoyed seeing a social post touting ‘Point of View’ and none of the footage is actually POV.
So I’ll take this opportunity to air my grievance along with a solution: Every time I see such a thing I should close social media and do something more constructive. Like post in my journal!
Unrelated, I tried this pair of snapshots from the day in monochrome and it wasn’t great (proof). So I guess the experiment for a month of black and white photos has fizzled.
Yeah, those POV posts started out as first-person videos in which a person was talking to “you”, and it quickly mutated so that “POV” was just a prefix for establishing a scenario. I don’t like it either but I guess language is gonna language
I honestly hadn’t thought of it in an evolved context! I guess I get it now.
