I might take up watching scale model building

Went out to get some supplies for home projects and popped into a Hobbytown because it was there.

I fell into a trance in the scale model aisle stacked densely with cars, planes, space ships and robot mech things with titles like “Unicorn Gundam 01 Banshee Norn Full Pysho-Frame Protoype Mobile Suit.”

I picked up a few vehicles and carried them around the store, hemming and hawing — I hadn’t even started my embroidery kit yet, what was I thinking?

Every time I tried model building growing up it ended up two ways with the same outcome: SnapTite models were kinda dumb and “real” model kits required a set of tools and paints (and patience) to really look good. I was always let down by the commitment.

I got a kite instead and put the models back with the notion I’d watch a few YouTube videos on these specific kits.

This turned out to be a good idea because I am in no way prepared to start model building. But I am really hoping I can influence the algorithum and compliment all the travel and cooking videos with those commited to the craft.
