Only a few more days left of 2023 and I plan to cram in as much goodness as possible — some in the form of calories.
After much hemming and hawing we landed at Proud Hound on an overcast day and they turned it around with their breakfast sandwiches. Casey got one with bacon, pimento cheese and kimchi. I went basic egg, cheese and goetta and both were kind of heavenly and made all the better with grit tots and maple ketchup on the side.
Come January I will eat salads for breakfast and dinner to make room for vittles like this.
