If you look up on the corner of W. McMillan and Vine Street in Corryville you’ll see this mural. I think it’s hilarious and have been meaning to stop by for a snapshot for some time. I could have waited for better light, but this captures Ohio winter.
It’s a tough shot because the intersection is a mess of construction. For the longest time there was this steep rolling hill of grass there (Google Map image from 2009), and now it’s an excavation with an impressive retaining wall. This is the beginning of a huge student housing development (Biz Journal story).
I found myself in the area to pick up cough syrup for someown down with the flu. It’s troubling how many folks I know that are sick with it. Also annoying? The hoops required to get cough syrup.

Hope they feel better soon.
Great shots, hilarious sign. Also, it’s interesting to see the new spires on the chapel compared to 2009.
They are indeed feeling better now! That church got a huge investment (14 mil) after a fire broke out. (It’s now a venue for events.)
