Got this DRAW sticker by Christopher Lee (aka The Beast is Back) along with a typewriter print some time back.
These reminders swirl in my consciousness, along with short video clips of Paul Heaston drawing a camper with a fountain pen. (That’s a Threads link but he also has a YouTube channel.)
While regarding all this, I sort through a box of art supplies at the studio and fish out a fountain pen still in its package.
I insert a fresh cartridge that looks suspect and try for some time to get the ink to flow. Just as I’m about to give up a splotchy line appears.
I draw my dad’s camera quickly, knowing the perspective is off, and stop before doing further damage.
Felt cute. Might repeat later.
