The piece in the middle immediately caught my eye. It’s called …and everything — a phrase Ciara’s late grandmother would use to punctuate a thought. She has more on the story and a detailed shot of the embroidery on her Instagram account.
It combines things I hold dear: Legacy, craftsmanship, meaning and typography.
It reminds me of my own mother and grandmother and their use of thread to express notions.
