Popped over to Northside to meet with my friend Sarah and couldn’t leave the neighborhood without braving the (extreme) heat to check out these two new murals IRL that I’d seen on the social medias.
There was a trailer in front of the big colorful joint between Cryptogram and Julia Lipovsky, but I thought that was kind of perfect for the recurring message.
This building at the intersection of Hamilton Ave. and Cosby St. used to be the canvas for an incredible piece by Scribe, but it had dilapidated over the years and was covered by tags. Here are my photos of that mural in 2004.
I’ll go back, take more snaps and get the whole thing next time.
Across the way is another fine piece that was just added by Evan Verrilli.
