Thanks to the fam I had more than enough strawberries to take a whack at making strawberry jam.
I went with a simple Strawberry Freezer Jam recipe (thanks Joe!) because I can only wrap my head around one new concept at a time. Learning how to can properly will have to wait for another day.
This is definitely a task for wearing an old dark t-shirt.
It turned out a bit runny, not sure if that’s because I held back on sugar or didn’t use any additional pectin Cornstarch made it acceptable and a jarred a bunch up. Not bad for a first batch.


My grandmother used to make freezer jam. Yours looks delicious.
My friend gave it this review so I guess it turned out ok! “STRAWBERRY JAM IS FIRE HOLY #!*$ ON A CRACKER” (I think they were overselling it.)
