Breakfast sandwiches and yard work

In the parking lot next to Cutman Barbershop in Walnut Hills is a a 1968 trailer that serves breakfast sandwiches on the weekend. This isn’t Cackleberry’s permanent space, but it is for the season. Bring a book as it’s popular and you might have to wait a bit for your order, but it’s entirely worth it.

Shout out to Cackleberry’s social media that blends great illustration and punchy photos that lured me in.

Post note: The photo with placemats on the storefront is Hoste Shoppe and has now opened!

Afterward we made the first of two trips to the home improvement store to get mulch and stuff. Spent the rest of the afternoon sprucing things up around the yard that sorely needed it.

  1. These are lovely photos, and the breakfast sandwich looks divine. I hadn’t heard that KC and the Sunshine Band song in YEARS, so thank you.
