Hangtime, mostly French food and Todd Rundgren

Met up with Tom for dinner at Colette after I raved about it incessantly. We did the best possible thing and split every course. I kick myself for not ordering the ravioli — I was so excited, I spaced. That ravioli could earn five stars all by itself.

Every morsel was tremendously good and not having the extra dish made room for dessert.

Afterward we took the streetcar down to catch Todd Rundgren for his ME/We tour. It was our first time seeing him and we picked a complicated introduction as this was a setlist packed with deep cuts.

The best part of the show was seeing him enjoying the moment so effortlessly — surrounded by great musicians, solid sound mix, fancy lights, fantastic venue. It all came together. We were up in the balcony and the crowd was a bit snoozy, but it was good to catch a slice of a legend.
