I’m as tired of this topic as anyone, but today marked potentially the last super major dental procedure for, I hope, many years. Notes for future me: Four crowns were installed today and two teeth were prepped for the last caps with a bridge.
The advancements in dentistry are pretty amazing. A pen-like probe with camera takes rapid fire images to form the 3D image you see above. CAD drawings are transmitted electronically and the teeth are printed in some lab.
Once those come in we’ll see how everything fits together and hopefully I can start chewing on both sides of my mouth again.
I overdid it afterward and went directly back to work. My pain was palpable through a Zoom screen.
Unrelated: Caught today’s song in the YouTube algo (sometimes it shows things that are enjoyable!) I liked Sinner before but it was somehow even better with a road video.
