Tater Tot Hotdish

Feeling better and thought a hearty meal might be good for the soul.

Got lured into this recipe from the social media and then looked up variants that did not involve a can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup. Ended up on this America’s Test Kitchen Tater Tot Hotdish (Youtube link). Luckily their version still uses frozen tater tots because I was not going to make those from scratch. (And from what I can tell, hotdish is essentially a Minnesotan word for casserole.)

All said and done? It was a lot of work and tasted a’ight but not whoa. I figure it might meld in leftover form and benefit from hot sauce. Not likely to put this into any sort of meal rotation.
