Madame Tussauds, Vegas

Originally I had planned to book a day use hotel to fill the 11 hour gap before a red-eye flight home, but I rested on my laurels too long and none were available. Next time I will trust my gut and act on the notion without hesitation. (Day use hotels let you check in at 10am and out by 5 or so.)

So this meant stowing luggage and bumbling around Vegas one more afternoon. A better planner would have gone to see Hoover Dam but we were left to a smaller radius.

Enter Madame Tussauds wax museum, conveniently located right next door. This easily filled up an hour or so and was quite delightful, with air conditioning, no crowds and a fun game of ”who is that?”

Not pictured: Me and Casey on a wrecking ball or riding the silver horse next to Megan Thee Stallion.
