Third year for this event where the Addiction Services Council brings together organizations and resources in a day of remembrance, acknowledgement and hope for those lost and affected by overdose.
The epidemic of drug-related deaths is heavy, terrible and could be overwhelming — but seeing the many folks present on this day is a reminder that inroads are being made and support is more widely available.
My brother is one of the organizers and they keep making the event brighter each year. I’m so very proud of him and all the folks that come together and light the way.
