Dave rolled through town for an extended trip visiting family and had a bit of free time between events. We spent the afternoon catching up on oodles of topics… technology, consulting, housing markets, folks, festivals, all the things that have changed and the longer list of things that have simply stayed remarkably the same. Oh, and a pandemic.
Can’t remember the last time I’d seen him, and that’s annoying because my digital breadcrumbs, even if not published, should be somewhat conclusive.
No matter, it was awesome slice of hang time that rolled into the evening and all of a sudden it was approaching midnight.
Next time I hope to catch him on his turf and pick back up, with fewer years in-between.
