Thanks to a snapshot in Phil Armstrong’s daily photos (9.12.22), I knew exactly where to find a gift for a friend. They specialize in “bespoke arcana” at this exquisitely appointed storefront with odd hours in Covington.
Until this day I didn’t know the definition of arcana (it’s secrets or mysteries).
I was able to find gifts in short order, but wasn’t expecting the level of care for packing the goods. Each item was wrapped in paper and string and books got an extra flourish with wax seal as evidenced by the blurry photograph below.
Looking forward to heading back.
