I’ve been on the lookout for egg rings because I want to make egg white breakfast sandwiches to cut back on cholesterol and whatever. (They’re proving difficult to find in real life.)
Wandering the aisles looking for them, Casey joked about the onion, pepper and citrus savers—multiple products shaped to match the contents but are essentially the same thing.
It made me think back to tours of the American Sign Museum and their showcase of trade signs… Signs that look like the product or service for those that might not be able to read—a big shoe to represent shoe repair, or neon spectacles for an optometrist.
