Since I’d last seen my aunt, a pandemic happened, she and my uncle moved back to Cincinnati, eventually found a house and recently settled in. I finally made a visit and it was wonderful to fill in the gaps and share stories. My nephew was there to boot and it was great catching up with him—we share a bond as the youngest in our families.
April sent me off with a bunch of blueberry poppyseed lemon muffins and breakfast casserole. Now I’m staring at the empty reusable container and can’t wait to return it—not that I need a reason.
