Fat Tuesday

During the slow months, Garnish Catering added à la carte meals for pickup and delivery. Each week is different and inspired by whatever holiday was nigh. In this case, Mardi Gras.

Tangent: So I always thought Mardi Gras began with ”Fat Tuesday” but I just realized that Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday. Thanks Wikipedia! (I took German in school.)

Kathryn ordered up catfish, gumbo, crawfish étouffée, dirty rice, hush puppies and beignets to celebrate. She also made a salad because we’re all trying to be healthy.

Everything was delicious.

Then we did the annual burning of the Christmas tree.
