At this point it was evident the holiday season would be… adjusted by the Omicron variant of Covid. I did my best to keep spirits lifted by sending out cards and gathering gifts to wrap and deliver. I wouldn’t end up getting everything out the door on time, but I would be in touch with most everyone over the coming weeks.
It’s all just so very weird and dumb and annoying. But I’ll cling to some optimism that we’re going to learn more each wave, each variant—and come up with more tools to tackle and move beyond this moment into something more tolerable.
Related, have you watched Fox News recently? They’re still pushing Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine saying this is some big Pharma ruse. I was aghast.
