Aside from the extremely drunk fellow (that was asked to leave at intermission), 2 Pianos, 4 Hands at Playhouse in the Park was very, very good.
My only experience studying music was through choir, but the core concept of embarking on an arts education resonates. The musical/play follows two actors as they play many characters from grade school through college. Some story arcs were particularly heavy, but it all added up to something quite moving. Extra props to the leads who balanced playing, piano, singing and lots of dense staging, characters and dialog. Highly recommended.
