Getting to design Zan’s Cincinnati Anthology crossed a big thing off my bucket list: to design a book cover. I had come so close in the past with friends, but invariably once a publisher got involved any concepts we provided were pushed aside for in favor of their in-house staff. (The final results were always soulless and frankly? Awful.)
The icing of the cake with Zan’s book was having the silly notion to make a tote to pair with the book and actually following through with it!
