Whenever a movie is filmed in Cincinnati, folks get excited—which is entirely warranted because this occurrence is rare. This go-round saw Todd Haynes bring Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara and a host of others to bring Carol to life. The synopsis: “Set in 1950s New York, a department-store clerk who dreams of a better life falls for an older, married woman.”
I didn’t see any of the shooting, but I did snap these old cars outside the Phoenix. Looking forward to 2015 to watch the results of the production.
