In trying to figure out why I get so behind on posting photos, I realized it always happens about June of every year. I can pinpoint the first big lapse on a roadtrip with my mom in 2011. There was so much awesome going on that it was hard to keep up. So I’m attempting to identify these gaps in time and fill in the good parts.
This holiday to Acadia National Park in Maine is one of my favorite trips. I pulled all the photos together and made a book to give to my mom.
Below are a few of my favorites, but you can also view all the photos from our road trip.

The birch trees at Walden Pond

Mom’s cairn

Delicious popovers with strawberry jam at the Jordan Pond House.
