Revisiting photos from this walk 11 years later and I can hear mom clear as day exclaim this tree stump “It looks just like a fiddle!”
I believe this was the first time I coerced her to visit the trails of Parkers Woods and Buttercup Valley Nature Preserve tucked away in Northside. A true gem of the neighborhood that can be a challenge with some elevation changes, especially if it there was recent rain.
