Holdout that refused to sell their house to Rookwood developers. I rooted for the homeowner when the city of Norwood tried to use eminent domain and take their property.
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled against the city of Norwood the year before this photo was taken. Eventually this last homeowner would sell the place for $1.2 million in 2008 to Rookwood developers.
Redevelopment eventually happened.
