Headed over to Scottsdale to see Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home/studio/school – Taliesin West. The tour was great with an amicable guide and a nice small group. Mr. Wright apparently enjoyed the arts, as seen by the sheer number of performance spaces throughout the complex.
My brother tried to volunteer me to showcase the piano in the cabaret, but I declined as “Heart and Soul” just didn’t seem appropriate.
I have a new insight to this architect now, and I herald his steadfast stance on indirect lighting — no one should see a bulb shine in their face.
