The
drive from Denver to Jackson was long. I was 100 miles south
of my destination and dusk was upon me. I had read in my trusty
Rand McNally Road Atlas that most accidents involving animals
happened at dawn and dusk. The signs warning of "Open
Range - Watch for Game" was disturbing me. I pressed on
after a few No Vacancies and ended up at Jackson in the thick
of night, no idea of the beauty this vacationer's hotspot.
