I’ve been in the air, on the tracks or in a bus for the last 20 hours.
Totally exhausted, but saying “Howdy!” from my first trip to the UK,
letting folks back home know I made it safely.
Now, to grab a brew at a pub and keep myself up for two more hours so I can adjust.
Didn’t have too much time to make different and varied photos this week, as I had to pack and prepare for a trip overseas. I’m going to All Tomorrow’s Parties hosted by The Breeders.
Very excited.
Hard to believe, but some universities are done for the summer. (color me a tad jealous). This includes Miami U in Oxford.
All the students are gone and they leave their discarded furniture and piles of garbage at the curb.
Environmentalists, fret not… Folks come by and pick most of the items up before trash comes.
We didn’t know if these were weeds or not, but our neighbor suggested they were poppies.
She was correct.

Though I’m not keen on driving through windy mountains, I do love watching the sun drift across a wall of trees.

19 days ago, these ferns were just peeking out of the ground. Amazing how quickly they grow.
Attended a lovely ceremony for the union of Jenn and Laura on Saturday. I did not tear it up on the dance floor or hop in this conga line, but I did step in the awesome photobooth set up at the reception.
